Weight Capacity
Classic Base: Holds up to 10 lbs (4.5kg), mounted with three 35mm finishing nails.
Heavy Duty (HD) Base: Holds up to 20 lbs (9kg), mounted with three 50mm finishing nails.
Command Strip (CS) Base: Holds up to 16 lbs (7.2kg), mounted with two 16 lb Command Strips — zero holes.
Mounting Hardware
Classic Base: Three 35mm finishing nails per board.
Heavy Duty (HD) Base: Three 50mm finishing nails per board.
Command Strip (CS) Base: Two 16 lb Command Strips per board — ideal for rentals and anywhere you can't drill or nail.
Classic and Heavy Duty boards sit flush against the wall since they're nailed directly to it. Command Strip boards sit a few millimeters proud of the wall, since the strip itself adds a bit of depth — so if you're mixing mounting types on the same wall, expect a slight offset where a Command Strip board meets a nailed one.
Materials & Built-In Durability
Base boards and most attachments are 3D-printed in matte PLA, available in 11 colors. The Planter line is printed in PETG, available in 9 colors, chosen because PETG is better suited to hold water. Both are high-grade thermoplastics — keep pieces away from extreme heat, a dashboard in August, or other high-temp sources to prevent warping.

How Trilo Compares
Trilo vs. IKEA SKÅDIS: SKÅDIS is $29.99 for one 30" x 22" fiberboard panel — screws and wall anchors sold separately, and you're committing to that whole footprint the moment you hang it. Trilo starts with a single 140mm x 140mm board and grows from there: three finishing nails, no stud-finding, no full-panel commitment. Get it wrong and you move one small board, not a 30" panel. SKÅDIS is genuinely cheap for the coverage, and IKEA's accessory catalog is huge and inexpensive — Trilo trades that for modularity and a lower commitment, building coverage board by board.
Trilo vs. Wall Control: Wall Control's 20-gauge steel panels ($28.97–$40 for 32" x 16") are seriously tough, mounted to studs on 16" centers with included screws and drywall anchors — built to outlast a garage's worth of daily abuse. Trilo boards are PLA: Classic holds up to 10 lbs, Heavy Duty up to 20 lbs, and Command Strip up to 16 lbs with zero holes. Metal wins on raw weight capacity and long-term wear under heavy daily use. Trilo's edge is where steel panels and stud-finders aren't an option — rentals, dorms, apartments, anywhere you want storage without a permanent commitment to the wall.
What about Gridfinity? Gridfinity isn't actually a wall system — it's an open-source, MIT-licensed 42mm x 42mm x 7mm bin standard created by Zack Freedman, mainly for organizing drawers and desktops with 3D-printed bins. A few makers have adapted it to wall use with third-party mounts, but that's not what it was built for. Trilo shares the "small modular units, endless combinations" philosophy but is purpose-built from the wall out — every board is a mount point.
How is Trilo different from a pegboard? A pegboard is one panel you commit to all at once. Trilo builds board by board — start with one, add more as you need them, and rearrange without re-hanging an entire panel.
Do I need to find a stud?
No. Trilo boards mount directly to drywall with finishing nails or Command Strips — no stud-finding, no drilling a grid of anchor points first.
Will this leave big holes in my wall?
No. Each Classic or Heavy Duty board mounts with three small finishing nails, not a full panel's worth of screws and anchors. Command Strip boards leave zero holes at all.
Can I mix mounting types on the same wall?
Yes — Classic, Heavy Duty, and Command Strip boards all share the same 140mm x 140mm x 21mm footprint, so they mix freely on one wall. Use nails where you can, Command Strips where you can't.

Return Policy
We want you to love your setup. If you aren't 100% thrilled with your order, return it within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
Backing Us on Kickstarter
When will I be charged if I back the campaign? Only if the campaign reaches its funding goal. Kickstarter doesn't collect any funds until a project is fully funded and the campaign ends — you won't be charged for backing an unfunded project.
What if I need a refund on my pledge? Kickstarter isn't a store, so refunds aren't automatic or guaranteed the way they'd be with a retail purchase — they're at our discretion as the creator, and easiest to request before the campaign ends. We'll always work with backers in good faith. (This is separate from our standard 30-day store return policy above, which applies to purchases made directly on this site.)
Is the delivery date guaranteed? No — like every Kickstarter project, our estimated delivery date is our best good-faith estimate, not a guarantee. We'll post regular updates as production moves forward.
